How points work
- Placement points
- Champion 100 · Runner-up 85 · Semifinalists 70 · Quarterfinalists 55 · Last 16 40 · Out in pool play 25.
- How they add up
- Players who go out in the same round get the same placement points; each match win adds 5.
- Third place
- Both semifinal losers share third place and get the same points.
- Small flights
- A flight played as one round robin places by its final standings: 1st gets champion points, 2nd runner-up, 3rd and 4th semifinalist, 5th to 8th quarterfinalist.
- No-shows
- A player who does not show up for a match gets no points for it, and a player who did not play any match gets no placement points.
- Rankings
- Each flight (for example, Boys Singles Flight A) has its own ranking. Points stay with the flight where they were earned; a player who moves up starts the new flight at 0.
- Quarterly ranking
- Adds up each player's points from the last 12 months. The event standings count this event only.
- Ties
- Players level on points are split by their placement points at their most recent event, then by match wins.
- Next event
- The quarterly ranking is used to seed the next ranking challenge.
